Not really. Its one of the most boring desserts there is IMO. If I am eating cake I need it saturated in icing, dont like plain.

It's okay. Not too sweet...goes good with some vanilla ice cream.

Only when I'm desperate for something sweet and it's the only option available. I wouldn't buy a pound cake though....that's always someone else's doing.

Eh. Like Nhaiyel said, it'll do in a pinch but I wouldn't chose it as a snack of choice.

It is much too heavy for me. This past winter my friend brought over an almond pound cake. I just took one bite at a time over a few hours while we were scrapbooking. And each time I took a bite, I didn't feel well for about 15 minutes. I finally figured out I must have a sensitivity to the almond extract or something.
