Which tree are you putting up this year and when are you putting it up?

We ALWAYS get a treal tree, we tried the artificial thing once and it never got put together right and looked as fake as Pam Anderson's old look. You just can't beat the real thing with the genuine pine smell. We got ours yesterday, but I'm allergic to the pollen in them so we have to hose it down and wrap it in plastic and set it outside for a week so it'll be going up either Friday or Saturday.

Artificial because it can be reused for years. Real trees not only shed, but you have to go through the hassle of bringing them in and throwing them out.

Real trees are nice but artificial trees are more practical and convenient.

I'm an artificial junkie. I'm not blind to the appeal of real trees; they're just too much a hassle for me.

If someone wants to bring in a real tree, I'll be happy to decorate it but I'm not going to cut it down or throw it out.

I say reserve real Christmas tree for outdoors. I'm not bringing one into my house so it can shed and stink up the place....and so I have to go through the ordeal of putting it out after the holiday season is over.

Who has to chop them down? We pick ours up from the grocery store sidewalk.

We've had an artificial tree for years. It's economical, convenient and it looks pretty good.

For me it's a hassle to pull out & set the artificial tree we keep in the basement storeroom every year. Trying to strap down a real tree to a car or truck and get somebody to help bring it in and take it out would be enough for me to say eff Christmas. LOL

But they're gorgeous and like Cateyes said, if someone else was willing to go through the trouble of bringing one in here and taking it out, then I'll trim it.

Artificial - I'm in an apartment. I think we'll have an artificial one at home, too, but I'd have to check with my parents. We have a really nice one.

I, too, live in an apartment. A real tree isn't coming in here.

A real tree smells so nice and it really gives the air the Christmasy feeling but an artificial tree is more practical for me so its artificial every year.
