I don't disagree. I didn't name some of these movies because I thought they were all that good. I just thought some senes in them were erotic.

I heard they originally wanted to give Wild Orchid an X-rated release. It took numerous cuts for them to taper it down to a NC-17 and finally a 'hard R.'

9 1/2 Weeks just occurred to me too and with it the realization that before he became a cartoon character, Mickey Rourke was with some very fine ladies in the 80’s. Still don’t care much for the decade.

That's what I'm talking about. Bill Cosby gave Lisa Bonet so much flack for her scenes in that movie but it was quite tame IMO.

I thot the love scene in Angel Heart with Lisa Bonet and Mickey Rourke was pretty hot - only 'cause it showed so much of Lisa.
I liked the wrestling scene in Women in Love between Oliver Reed & Alan Bates.
There was also a love scene with Reed and Glenda Jackson
Also the most recent hot love scene was in Love & Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hatthaway. She has a gorgeous bod - nice breasts, but I really get off on Jake.

Well, that was actually an elaborate porn movie.
I saw the R rated version in theater when it came out in '79. Didn't know there was a porn version then.
Have you seen the "Uncut" DVD. (The movie showed explicitly that the Romans didn't circumcise) There were two movies made, the one in theaters and the other where they added superfluous, gratuituous porn scenes.
Peter O'Toole once said he regretted ever being in that movie. Haven't heard if Malcolm McDowell, John Gielgud or Helen Mirren regretted it.

I heard there were a few didn't cuts of Caligula that ranged from R to NC-17 to triple X-rated and that it was produced by the guy who publishes Penthouse Magazine.

Yeah, Bob Guccione added his Penthouse Pets doing explicit orgy scenes in the X-rated version. (I don't think NC-17 was around in '79 - they called it what it was)
